Clinique Aromatics Elixir was launched in 1971, making it the oldest perfume in the Clinique house. The fragrance is classified as a chypre floral fragrance for women, which opens with notes of aldehydes, coriander, chamomile, clary sage, lemon verbena, bergamot, Brazilian rosewood and geranium. The heart is formed by carnation, tuberose, orange blossom, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose. The composition concludes with notes of sandalwood, patchouli, musk, oakmoss, vetiver and incense. Bernard Chant is the perfumer behind this fragrance.
